Air Selangor's upgrading works completed, water to be restored in stages from this evening onwards

Maintenance and upgrading work at the Sungai Selangor water treatment plant Phase 1 has been completed at 5am this morning. Water supply throughout Kuala Lumpur and Selangor is expected to return in stages from 5pm today, stated Air Selangor. The water treatment system had been stabilised and supply pumped to the distribution system an hour later.

A private hospital in Klang caught fire in the depths of the night on 11 October. Fortunately, 39 patients in the ward were transferred away safely in time. The fire did not cause any deaths.

Klang Hokkien Association's charity run raises RM33,000, funds allocated to purchase 63 laptops for students in need

Klang Hokkien Association's youth division and women's group had previously held a virtual charity run online that lasted for a month. The charity run had successfully accumulated a total of RM33,000 and the association had purchased 63 laptops. The laptops are donated to 21 schools within the Klang district, helping three students in need of help from each school to have online access and allow them to study from home.
