At the 348.4th kilometer north of the North-South Avenue, an accident occurred last night because a towed lorry lost control and failed to brake, which affected 3 other vehicles. One of the sedan's body was embedded in the tail of another lorry. The passenger in the front seat was hospitalized with injuries.
Tapah police district chief Wan Azharuddin said in a statement to the media today that the police received a report of the traffic accident on Tuesday (9.40pm).
He pointed out that, according to the preliminary investigation by the police, a cyan lorry was driving from Klang to Penang. When it arrived at the scene of the crime, it suddenly lost control and hit a white car, causing the white car to crash into the dike of the highway; Glory didn't stop and rammed into a second car, causing it to hit the rear of another dragged Glory.
He said the accident had injured the front seat passenger of the second car and had been taken to Tapah Hospital for treatment.
