In the commercial area of Jalan Sentul, Pandamaran, the problem of water supply after rain often occurs, which makes the merchants miserable. Waiting for tableware is believed to be one of the main culprits of water failure.
Hong Jianhua, a local Klang city councillor, pointed out to the media today that since last year, two rows of shops in the business district will supply water once it rains for more than an hour.
He said he kept getting calls from businesses in the business district to complain, and hoped that the city council would pay attention to the repeated flooding and avoid panicking every time it rained.
"I also talked about the matter last month when I met with the city council's engineering team with the local Pandamaran district state assemblyman Leung Tak Chi. After the team discussed it with the environmental services team, they immediately arranged follow-up actions."
He said that officials agreed to clean all the drainage systems in the commercial area once. If the commercial area is still facing water relief problems after cleaning, the engineering team will investigate the reasons for the water relief.
He pointed out that in the past two weeks, the city council has successively cleaned up the flood drains and sewers in the area, and from the garbage and mud that was cleaned up, many tableware from food rocks were accidentally found.
"We can see that there are many iron teas, forks, etc. that we use when we eat in restaurants, which makes people feel strange,
He said that there are 2 Mamak shops in the commercial area, so it is believed that the tableware is from these 2 Mamak.
