Klang cops on hunt for break-in suspect seen in viral videos

Police are looking for a male suspect in connection with the break-in of a house at Taman Sentosa here.

A Facebook user with the handle "Irene Kim" had posted a number of videos and pictures of a man believed to be the suspect.

The videos, believed to be from a house CCTV, shows the suspect getting out of a white car and ringing the doorbell before leaving.

Another video then shows him parking the car and approaching the house.

The Facebook user also posted a picture of a roof tile which was moved to gain entry into the house as well as a video of the ransacked house.

South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Cha Hoong Fong confirmed the case.

"We received a report from a 36-year-old man who claimed he found the house in a ransacked state at around 6.30pm on Tuesday when he got home.

"The complainant also claimed there was a hole in his house ceiling," he said, adding that the man lost two gold rings, three gold chains and at least RM2,100 cash.
