South Klang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Cha Hoong Fong said, the matter was detected through an 11-second video on the Facebook page, at about 8.30 last night.

He said the camera footage of the vehicle's dashboard showed the man who was riding a motorcycle, turning back and repeatedly elbowing the woman behind him in the passengers seat.

"Based on the recording, the man had hurled his left elbow towards the woman's head twice. So far, the identities of the riders and motorcyclists have not been identified," he said in a statement today.

Hoong Fong explained that his party was conducting further investigations to identify the two individuals.

“The investigation paper was opened according to Penal Code Section 323, which is punishment for voluntarily causing hurt. Apart from that, the case is being investigated in accordance with Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, ”he explained.

He added that people with information on the incident were asked to contact the South Klang District Police Headquarters (IPD) at 03-33762222 or the nearest police station.

"We also advise road users to always be careful driving or riding vehicles so as not to endanger themselves and others," he explained.

Earlier, the video, which was spread four days ago, was criticized by netizens when it was alleged that it also involved a child riding the same motorcycle. - Utusan
