South Klang Police looking for armed robbery suspect who robbed a convenience store in Taman Sentosa

A viral video of an armed man robbing a convenience store took place at Taman Sentosa, here, said South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Cha Hoong Fong.

He said the incident took place at 12.08am on Sunday (April 17) at the shop along Jalan Yusuf Shahbudin 30 in Taman Sentosa Klang.

"The cashier, a 19-year-old woman was manning the counter when a man approached her in a drunken state and asked for money," he said when contacted on Tuesday (April 19).

He said the suspect claimed he needed cash because he had been robbed but the cashier told him there was no money in the shop.

"The man suddenly took out a hand saw and pointed it at the cashier.

"Fearing for her safety, she immediately opened the cash register and the suspect grabbed at least RM235.15 cash," he said.

He added the suspect was tall, wore a face mask, white shirt and black pants during the incident.

He said the victim was left traumatised and could not identify the suspect.

ACP Cha said the case has been classified as robbery.
