The busy Jalan Tengku Kelana here became the centre of attention Monday (April 4) evening when an old building in the area caught fire.
The building was located near the famous Indian Muslim mosque in the vicinity.
According to Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis, the dilapidated building was unoccupied.
"Some 90% of the building was damaged in the fire," he said. Luckily, there were no casualties.
Norazam said three fire engines each from the Kota Raja, Andalas and Port Klang fire stations rushed to the scene after receiving the call at 5.04pm and managed to put out the fire by 5.32pm.
