Mukim Klang recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases in Selangor with 2,111 cases as of 11.59pm on 22nd of March 2022. 

The Selangor State Health Department (JKNS) stated in a Facebook post on 23rd of March, saying that the number was part of 7,452 cases in Selangor on the same day.

According to the dispatch, it covered 7,391 community cases, 14 prison cases and 47 import cases.

“Based on the number of COVID-19 cases in the Klang sub-district, the Klang district recorded the highest number of cases with 1,538 cases, followed by Kapar (558 cases) involving 15 import cases.

“The second district that recorded the highest COVID-19 cases on Tuesday was Hulu Langat with 1,703 cases, followed by Petaling (1,296); Gombak (1,050); Kuala Langat (643); Kuala Selangor (338) and Sepang (170).

"Besides that, Hulu Selangor sub -district recorded 116 cases while Sabak Bernam recorded 15 cases," he said.
