Working closely with Tenaga National, Klang Police had proceeded to cut off the electricity supply to twelve units that are involved in online gambling activities within 48 hours.

North Klang Regional Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner S Vijaya Rao stated that the police had previously cut off electrical supply to 32 units in 2020 and 26 units 2021, totaling at 70 units. All of these cases have been brought to court, but some of the said units still chose to continue their online gambling activities.

No matter what, the police will continue to take action to curb local online gambling activities. He had also warned property owners to not rent out their units to online gambling groups to avoid legal action.
