There was a small blaze on 24 February (Thursday) morning when fire razed some food stalls at Jalan Besar, Pandamaran.
The 15 stalls, owned by the Klang Municipal Council (MPK), were scorched at about 3:15am.
According to Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis, there were no casualties in the early morning episode, but some 80% of the structure suffered fire damage.
"Each of the stalls measured 10×10 ft and were temporary structures of the open variety," he said.
Fifteen firemen in two fire engines from the Port Klang and Seri Andalas fire stations rushed to the spot to put out the fire.
"The firemen managed to completely extinguish the fire at 5.18am," said Norazam.
