Klang Hokkien Association issues RM60,000 as flood relief aid to members

The Klang Hokkien Association (KHA) issued a total of RM60,000 as flood relief aid to members who are affected by the floods in order to help them rebuild their homes.

The Association issued a statement today stating that they sympathize with the hardships and troubles caused by the recent flood. Therefore, it announced that it will assist members who are heavily affected by the floods and in need of assistance. Each family will receive RM300. Klang Hokkien Association (KHA) president Mr. Soo Hak Min, stated that as of December 29, 2021, the association has partially distributed a total of the RM60,000 disaster relief funds. Approved members will receive the aid before January 5, 2022. 

The association also recently donated a powerful pump system worth RM5,000 to the Sungai Pinang Civil Defense Force in Klang to help the Civil Defense Force clean homes for flood victims and flood-stricken areas.
