South Klang Police seeks witness to fatal crash at Persiaran Sungai Pinang

South Klang Police is requesting assistance for any witnesses of an accident involving a motorcycle at Persiaran Sungai Pinang, Pulau Indah this morning (2 September) to assist in the investigation. 

The said accident happened during early hours in the morning at 7:15am. The motorcyclist was identified as a Malay woman who was on her way from Sungai Putus to Pulau Indah. The victim was on her motorcycle while exiting an intersection and crashed into a vehicle in front of her. As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist died at the scene and was later sent to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, Klang (HTAR) for a surgical investigation. 

The body identification process has already been made by the victim's family. Therefore, the police are now tracking down independent witnesses to assist in the investigation and they can contact the Investigating Officer of the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division (BSPT) of the South Klang District Police Headquarters, Inspector Ana Vanessa at 018-2717165.

The investigation was conducted in accordance with Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for careless and reckless driving.
