A new cluster called Jalan Kelicap 42B Cluster was detected which involved Klang Parade. As of 8 August, 60 people have been tested, with 29 of them testing positive.

The shopping mall had previously announced closure from 5-7 August and was scheduled to reopen on 8 August. The closure of the mall was then extended by the management to 20 August.

The reason for the extension was to ensure the health and safety of both employees and customers as the management continues to sanitize and disinfect the shopping mall.
