The Health Ministry registered 20 new COVID-19 clusters found across the country on Monday (24th May 2021).
The 20 clusters reported includes 8 workplace clusters, 6 community clusters, 3 religious clusters, 1 imported cluster, 1 educational clusters and 1 high-risk group cluster.
One new cluster - named the Jalan Jed cluster - has been linked to an outbreak at a dialysis centre in Bandar Parklands, Klang. The index case is a 65-year-old woman who tested positive on May 24 after she underwent a screening for close contacts.
So far, 14 people have been confirmed as positive under the cluster. The cluster is also listed as a high-risk group cluster.
Other clusters that involve Klang include two workplace clusters that involve a factory at Jalan Bestari 1/KU7, Taman Perindustrian Kapar Bestari, Klang, and another factory at Jalan Dato Sellathevan, Kampung Jawa, Klang.
The above clusters are named the Jalan Bestari Satu cluster and Jalan Dato Sellathevan Empat cluster.
Yesterday on 25th of May, Malaysia listed a record high of daily death cases of 61. ICU numbers are now more than 700, and yet clusters continue to be discovered every single day. #KitaJagaKita.
