- Areas - Klang, Gombak, Petaling, Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat & Sepang.
- Kuala Lumpur has also just been added into the MCO 3.0 list.
- Date - 6 - 17 May 2021 (Kuala Lumpur 7 - 20 May 2021)
(General) Activities Allowed -
- Listed economic sectors
- Purchasing daily necessities
- Receiving health and medical treatment
- Conducting official government affrais and law duties
(General) Disallowed Activities -
- Cross-district in MCO areas, inter-state travel without PDRM's permission
- Travelling in and out of MCO areas without PDRM's permission
Hari Raya -
- Aidilfitri Bazaars and Pasar Malam allowed to operate under strict SOPs until 10pm as per the following - Limitation of visitors, queue numbers to be given out, children below 12 years old are not allowed entry. Any breach of SOPs will result in immediate closure
- Ramadhan Bazaars are not allowed to operate starting 8 May 2021
- Dine-in is not allowed in MCO areas, including Ramadhan buffets
Travelling -
- For vehicles, the passenger limit = vehicle capacity limit
- Letter from PDRM needed for long-distance married couples that need to travel cross-district or interstate
Education -
- All schools in Selangor will be temporary closed starting 6 May 2021
- Students in hostels in MCO areas are not allowed to return for the time being
- International exams and bodies are allowed to operate under strict SOPs, will need letter from MoE
- Students who need to travel for official exams will need validation and letter from MoE
Economical -
- Dine-in is not allowed in MCO areas, takeaway, delivery and drive-through only
- Spa and refloxology centres are not allowed to operate
- Night clubs and pubs are not allowed to operate
- Theme parks, indoor playgrounds, karaokes, cinemas are not allowed to operate
- Operation Hours -
- Food & Beverage - 6am-12am
- Grocery stores and pharmacies - 6am- 2am
- Hospitals, clicnics and medical labs - Usual operation hours
- Daily necessity stores - 6am-10pm
- Petrol stations - 6am-12am
- Petrol stations on highways - 24 hours
- Daily markets (Pasar) - 6am-2pm
- Wholesale markets - 12am-6am / 11am-4pm
- Veterinary and pet shops - 6am-10pm
- Laundry, Optical, Car Wash, Barber and Saloons - 6am - 10pm
Office Work (Public & Private Sectors)
- Allowed to operate, travelling employees will need - Registration/Letter of Operation AND Working Pass/Letter of Validation from Company
- Attendance for public sectors - According to JPA's instructions
- Attendance for private sectors - 30% of management group
- For work that does not require physical attendance, the Work From Home (WFH) directive will apply
- All face-to-face meetings are not allowed to involve people from other agencies, and must be held via video streaming
Religious Affairs
- Mostly allowed with strict compliace to SOP
Care Centres
- Daycare centres, kindergartens are allowed to operate with permission from relevant ministries and agencies
- Care centres for OKU, senior citizens, women and others are allowed to operate
Sports & Leisure Activities
- UPDATE: 07/05/2021 - All sports and recreational activites have been suspended.
- UPDATE: 08/05/2021 - All sports and recreational activites that do not include physical contact is now allowed.
- No physical contact. Social distancing of 1.5 metres must be observed
- Group activities are limited to 30% of the area capacity and must not exceed 30 people
Social Activities
- Mostly not allowed except for - Driving Institutes, Flying Institutes and Fishing, all to be held under strict SOP compliance
Creative Industry
- Filming allowed with minimal crew in studios with no audience and strict compliance to SOP
- Indoor busking is allowed
