The special discount is held in conjunction with JPJ's 75th anniversary.

"The discount offer will be valid for two months starting April 13 till June 13," he told reporters at JPJ's 75th anniversary celebrations here on Monday (April 12).

He noted that the discount would benefit motorists who have been unable to renew their driving licences or road tax after being blacklisted by JPJ for unsettled summonses.

"For example, with the discount, a motorist will only have to pay RM45 to settle a RM150 summons.

"This will allow the individual's name to taken off the JPJ blacklist," he said.

The payment can be made at all JPJ offices and online through the department’s official portal.

“I encourage the public to pay their summonses online to avoid congestion at JPJ offices,” he told reporters after JPJ’s 75th Platinum Jubilee celebration.

JPJ also introduced JPJeQ, an online waiting queue system today to avoid the 3Cs (crowded, confined and close) at all JPJ premises and counters.

“The mobile application will allow customers to choose the JPJ branches which are less crowded and use QR codes to get the waiting number, and it is a friendly app to people with disabilities and senior citizens,” Wee said.

Don't miss this chance to clear off your remaining summons and remove yourself from any JPJ blacklists.
