Pantai Hospital Klang has been chosen to be one of the COVID-19 Vaccination Centres in Selangor (specifically serving Klang District).
“We are delighted to inform that Pantai Hospital Klang is appointed as one of the Covid-19 Vaccination Centre for Private Healthcare frontliners in Klang. We are proud to be part of the vaccination program for Phase 1 and ready to serve the Klang community. Our doctors and nurses are getting vaccinated this week. Thanks to all the efforts by Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah Klang, Klinik Kesihatan Bukit Naga, hospital management and staff who have make this happen,” the hospital had stated.
Pantai Hospital Klang (PHK) has administered Covid-19 vaccines to more than 200 private health care workers and frontliners in Klang, Selangor.
The private hospital is the second hospital in IHH Healthcare Malaysia’s network of 16 hospitals, after Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, to set up a COVID-19 vaccination centre within its premises, in support of the national COVID-19 vaccination programme.
“So far, our two Pantai Hospitals have vaccinated close to 2,000 frontliners in the Klang Valley. Our Gleneagles Hospitals, Pantai Hospitals and Prince Court Medical Centre are committed to deploy resources to assist the Ministry of Health (MOH) with mass vaccinations, a service we have extended since Phase One,” IHH CEO Jean-François Naa said in a statement.
“We have come to an important phase in the fight against Covid-19, and I urge everyone to protect themselves and their loved ones by getting vaccinated,” he added.
