COVID-19: 0 Cases in Port Klang Free Zone for 18 Days

Chairman of Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) Datuk IR. Lawrence Low Ah Keong has stated that the PKFZ has recorded zero (0) cases in eighteen (18) days since November 23.

"All operations have returned to normal and our business partners and clients can rest assured," he said.

The PKFZ has previously recorded COVID-19 cases in November. After testing, the total amount of cases are amounted at 55, with 51 being non-Malaysians and 4 being local Malaysians. 

Strict SOPs and routine sanitization process has been put in place to ensure the health and safety of their staff.

"We will constantly be alert and careful to make sure all business clients and manufacturers will not be affected by the pandemic. As such, we will continue to work closely with the relevant authorities - Port Klang Authority, West Port and North Port to tackle COVID-19."
