Klang becomes first COVID-19 ‘red zone’ in Selangor

Today, Malaysia records the highest of COVID-19 cases at 691 cases. Having breaking record highs consecutively for the last few days, Selangor has the second highest influx of cases apart from Kedah.

With three clusters in Klang, we currently have 71 total cases, with 23 being import cases from other areas or districts. According to the data provided by Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Selangor, an area becomes a 'red zone' when there are more than 40 local transmitted cases.

And hence, Klang has officially become the first 'red zone' in Selangor.
