MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Jambatan Kota, Klang (from MPK to Balai Polis Trafik Klang Selatan, Banting / Port Klang-bound and Klang town-bound) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 19 October 2020 to 30 November 2021, Monday to Sunday, 11:00 p.m to 5:00 a.m.

During the intermittent closures, motorists will be diverted as indicated below:

Motorists from Klang town heading towards Banting and Port Klang will be diverted to Jalan Dato’ Hamzah, Jalan Tengku Kelana and Bulatan Simpang Lima to head on to Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (to Banting) and Persiaran Raja Muda Musa (to Port Klang).

Motorists from Port Klang heading towards Klang town will be diverted to Jalan Tengku Kelana via Bulatan Simpang Lima and Jalan Dato’ Hamzah to head back on to Jalan Jambatan Kota.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Klang Public Works Department (JKR Klang) and Klang Municipal Council (MPK). Throughout the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period, MRCBGK will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out construction activities.
