Samy Kia’s Bah Kut Teh (三美仔啊跳肉骨茶) is well-known for it's thick, flavorful soup, with generous portions of meat served in traditional clay pots. They have multiple outlets in Klang Valley, but the one we’ve specifically visited is their brand new outlet at Bukit Tinggi 2!

Their meals also come at a very reasonable price range! We definitely recommend dropping by earlier as their Bah Kut Teh sells out pretty fast. Only available in the mornings, they are open from 7:30am to 2:00pm!

Wondering why it’s named ‘unusual’? It’s actually a small translation error, and it’s actually meant to be ‘out of the ordinary’.
Dedicated to preserving the original Hainan taste, the stall serves chicken rice, roasted pork and charsiew. Our crew couldn't get enough of their soft, silky chicken meat, not to mention the delicious roasted pork on the side. Paired with their unique chicken soup, you can round off the taste with their fragrant chilli sauce.
Though the price is slightly on the pricier side, it will definitely leave you give you a good taste of authentic Hainan chicken rice! Available from 11am to 9pm, you can drop by anytime to give it a go.
